How do I take advantage of AIR MILES Card Linked Offers?
Make sure your eligible Mastercard® credit card or BMO® Debit Card is linked to your AIR MILES account Collector number.
Browse available offers from participating brands and be sure to check the offer requirements and eligibility.
Shop an offer and make a qualifying purchase with your linked card—no need to scan your AIR MILES card.
That’s it! Your bonus Miles will show up in your account.
If you have a BMO® AIR MILES® Mastercard®, you’re automatically linked!
If you have a BMO® Debit Card associated with a Personal Account and you provided BMO with an active AIR MILES Collector Number, you’re automatically linked!
To earn Bonus Miles, your AIR MILES collector account must be active at the time you make a qualifying debit card purchase. An AIR MILES collector account is active if you earned or redeemed Miles in the past 24 months. To use your BMO Debit Card at an online merchant, your linked debit card must have a visible Mastercard logo.
If you haven’t already, link any other Canadian-issued Mastercard® credit card to your AIR MILES account.
Do I need to show my AIR MILES card at checkout to get the offer?
No, you don’t need to show your AIR MILES collector card to take advantage of Card Linked Offers. Just use your linked card, it might be a Mastercard® credit card, BMO® Debit Card or both, to make a qualifying purchase at participating brands. Be sure to check the unique offer terms for details.
If there’s another non-Card Linked Offer available, you can scan your AIR MILES card to earn those Miles too.
To use your BMO Debit Card at an online merchant, your linked debit card must have a visible Mastercard logo.
Do I need to show a coupon?
No coupons necessary! Some Card Linked Offers may require you to opt-in before using the offer.
If I have a linked Mastercard or BMO® Debit Card, can I earn Miles at these brands just by showing my AIR MILES card?
To use Card Linked Offers, you don’t need to scan your AIR MILES card at the time of purchase. Once your eligible Mastercard® credit card or BMO® Debit Card is linked, you can earn Miles at participating brands when you pay with the linked card type specified in the offer terms. To earn Miles with a linked BMO® Debit Card, your AIR MILES account must be active at the time of the qualifying purchase. How do I know if my credit card has been successfully linked?
- When you link your Mastercard® credit card to your AIR MILES account, you should receive a confirmation message on the website. If there was an error linking your cards, you’ll receive an error message asking you to resolve any issues.
- Don’t forget, if you have a BMO® AIR MILES Mastercard® you’re already linked and there’s no action for you to complete.
My BMO AIR MILES Mastercard® was auto-linked, can I still link other Mastercard® credit cards?
Yes! You can link multiple qualifying Mastercard® credit cards to your AIR MILES collector account. To link additional cards, go to airmilescardlink.ca
What if my Mastercard® credit card expires?
If your Mastercard® number is the same on your replacement Mastercard® credit card, no action is required. But if you receive a new card with a new number, you’ll have to link the new card unless it’s a BMO® AIR MILES Mastercard.
How do I unlink my credit card?
The unlink feature is not available to collectors using a BMO® AIR MILES Mastercard® credit card as the ability to earn Miles is an embedded benefit of these products. However, you can opt-out by switching to a BMO® non-AIR MILES product. Call BMO® or speak to a representative at your local BMO® branch. Any other Mastercard® can be unlinked at any time—if you’ve linked multiple Mastercard® credit cards, be sure to unlink individually.
Why can't I unlink my BMO® AIR MILES Mastercard®?
The ability to earn Bonus Miles from partners through Card Linked Offers is a credit card product benefit and is tied to the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES BMO® Mastercard®.
BMO Debit Cards
How do I know if my BMO® Debit Card is linked to my AIR MILES account?
Starting December 2, 2024, if you have provided BMO® with your AIR MILES collector number and you have a BMO Debit Card for Personal Banking, you’re already linked. You may receive a confirmation email from BMO or AIR MILES confirming you’re linked, or you can contact your BMO branch to verify the collector number associated with your BMO Debit Card. Your collector number must be active at the time a qualifying purchase is made on your debit card to earn Reward Miles. An AIR MILES collector account is active if you’ve earned or redeemed Miles in the past 24 months.
How do I change which BMO® Debit Card is linked to my AIR MILES account?
If you noticed that your AIR MILES Collector Number is incorrect or if you wish to change your Collector Number, you can call BMO® or visit a branch to provide BMO® with your updated Collector Number. Your new Collector Number will be linked to your BMO® Debit Card after 2 business days.
What if my BMO® Debit Card expires?
If your BMO® Debit Card was already linked to your active AIR MILES collector account, no action is required. Your replacement card will be automatically linked to your AIR MILES Collector Number.
How do I unlink my BMO® Debit Card?
If you wish to unlink your BMO® Debit Card from the Card Linked Offers program, you can call BMO® or visit a branch. The unlink feature is not available to collectors using a BMO® AIR MILES Everyday Banking account as the ability to earn Miles is an embedded benefit of these products. However, you can opt-out by switching to a BMO® non-AIR MILES product. Call BMO® or speak to a representative at your local BMO® branch.
